General Care

All LENA GELSOMINO jewelry is made of solid sterling silver, stainless steel, surgical steel or silver-plated bronze, unless otherwise specified. It is still recommended to remove jewelry when bathing, swimming, exercising or cleaning. Storing jewelry in an airtight container, away from other jewelry, will also prevent accelerated tarnishing.

These materials can nevertheless tarnish with continuous use. In theory, a warm bath in soapy water and a light scrubbing with a soft brush will help clean them. A light buffing with a polishing cloth will restore its lustre and shine.

Rock Crystal (Quartz)

LENA GELSOMINO uses natural, transparent minerals such as quartz. Quartz crystal beads are very delicate, so please handle them with care. Also note that some stones may contain inclusions that make them more fragile.

For lithotherapy use, rock crystal can be discharged under running water, or left immersed in a container filled with water. To recharge, place it in direct sunlight.

 

Glass pearls

Some LENA GELSOMINO beads are made of glass. They are very fragile and sensitive to scratches, so carry them with care. Wipe with a damp cloth for cleaning.
